Five mindsets for a happier life

Have you ever experienced the feeling of pure happiness? The joy of being simply alive and right in the moment? Because lately I do. I adapted a different mindset, changed my behaviour towards others and finally live in peace within myself. There are five ways of thinking that helped me to grow out of sadness and leave my past behind me. These five mindset are the fundament on which I built and created my personal “house of happiness”. Yes, I call it my “house of happiness” because I can built and decorate it, in the way I want it to look like. I can rearange things, invite people over and friendly ask them to leave when it is time. However, every house needs a good and strong fundament and here are my five ways to think to built it in a strong and solid way!

Your body is magical. Your heart is beating non-stop, everything works perfectly for you. Your body can heal itself and the way we see ourselves can change our whole lives. We are not only our physical bodies – we are energy – but looking after our appearance and treating it well can help to turn dreams and ideas into reality! Learn to love it and appreaciate everything it does for you!

Time heals everything. Whatever difficulties you are facing right now and how horrible you feel, with time everything can change. Maybe this right now, feels like the worst time in your life, but if you fight through it, I am sure that in time, maybe in a year or two, everything will be different and it will not be as painful anymore!

Realize how lucky you are. Practising gratitude on a daily basis will help you to feel better about yourself, dark times won´t affect you that much anymore and you will feel so lucky for every little, precious moment in life. I am so grateful to have a roof over my head, food in my tummy, friends and family around me, the chance to meet new people and the chance to travel and see the world!

You can predicte the life you want. Everything you feel is stoping you, is basically you stopping yourself! Yes, it is easier said than do but the way we think about life and the chances it offers us, can turn your life upside down! Everything you want is out there and it is all about you! Go for everything you want, take risks and be brave! It all is up to your personal power, so go and get what you have always wanted. I understand that this is scary, I am still so scared about taking risks and failing. But this leads me to my next and final mindset:

Failing does not exist. Failier is a false belief. Failure means growth, failure is a lesson and never ever the end result. Think of failure as the Universe challening you. Think about what you should do different next time and then try again. Failing leads to the best outcome if you see failure not as the world´s ending, but see and take the lesson from it!
