Everyone is busy and we should always do more, achieve more, be more. Simple to say, whatever we do, it is never enough. We often seem to be not enough. In this crazy busy world, we are left with nothing more than the feeling of “I am too tired”.
There are so many things on our to-do lists that it often seems impossible to achieve any of them! That´s the reason why I like to plan and organise my day; just to keep on track with everything that needs to be done. The most successfull people all discovered a perfect system for themselves, how to be organised and furthermore, achieve more.
I honestly really love my FiloFax calender. It helps me to keep an eye of all the tasks I need to fulfill and what important meetings, exams,… are already set. I also love writing lists in there (shopping or book/film lists, …), in order not to forget anything.
But how much time is then left for ourselves?
It is so important to take time just for yourself to rest and come back even stronger. By taking a break from your daily busy life, you can focus more on what is important and what brings you joy and happiness. On what you spend your time tells so much about who you are and who you can become. Resting, meditating and taking your time helps so much because you will be more focused on the important tasks you need to fulfill.
But how can we slow down and invest our time wisely?
We have to build up a healthy routine, including time for our business/studies/daily tasks, time we spend with friends and family and time we can use to work on ourselves and rest.
Here are a few tips to be and feel more successful and to achieve your goals:
-Wake up an hour earlier
-Plan your day ahead and stick to that plan
-Try to get in some exercise every day
-Treat yourself once in a while
-Whatever your goals are, try to work towards them EVERY SINGLE DAY
-Surround yourself with people who bring out the best in you and do not hold you back
But please do not forget that while hustling towards your goals, you should take time for yourself. Try to fit in at least 10 minutes a day to meditate, do some yoga and relax. You need to take care of your mind, body and soul. You won´t achieve anything if you do not look after yourself. YOU MATTER & YOU ARE IMPORTANT – you should never ever forget that!
